Introduction of Flame Treater Roller :

The flame treatment roller serves as a key component of the flame treatment machine within the traction section of biaxial oriented film production lines. Its primary function is to enhance the surface adhesiveness of the film. As the film passes over the flame treatment roller, its surface adhesion properties are improved, which facilitates subsequent converting processes such as printing, coating, and lamination.

This treatment roller is efficiently cooled by circulating water, creating a "cold side" for the film as it undergoes flame treatment. The water-cooling mechanism prevents excessive heat buildup, ensuring the film maintains its structural integrity while the flame modifies its surface chemistry. This dual-function design—combining flame activation with controlled cooling—optimizes the film's surface energy for better ink and coating adhesion, making it critical for high-quality downstream processing.
