CPP Corona Treatment Roller Production: 

The corona treatment roller is a device commonly used for static elimination and surface treatment. It mainly achieves effective static removal through the corona discharge phenomenon. Its working principle is to excite or dissociate gas molecules through corona discharge under the action of high-voltage electric field, generate ionization layer, and then form corona plasma on the surface of the working object to achieve cleaning, etching, spraying and other treatments on the surface of the object.

CPP Corona Treatment Roller Working Principle: 

When plastic film is not surface treated, its surface tension is low. In order to further improve the bonding force between printing ink or vacuum aluminum coating and the surface of plastic film and increase the adhesion strength, it is often necessary to surface treat the plastic film. The methods for surface treatment of plastic film include: corona treatment, chemical treatment, mechanical roughening, coating, flame treatment, etc., among which the most commonly used is corona treatment.

By applying high-frequency and high-voltage power between the metal electrode and the corona roller (generally a high-temperature resistant, ozone resistant, and highly insulating silicone rubber roller), discharge is generated, thereby ionizing the air and forming a large amount of ozone. At the same time, high-energy electric sparks impact the surface of the film. Under their joint action, the surface of the plastic film is activated and the surface energy is increased. Corona treatment can increase the tensile force of polyolefin film to 38 dynes/cm; the surface tensile force of polyester film can reach 52-56 dynes/cm or more.
